That’s a great deal for a phone that’s going to cost about as much as a new iPhone 8. A leaked Best Buy Canada flyer posted on Reddit mentions Google Pixel 2 preorder, seemingly confirming that only the smaller phone should be available for preorder in the coming days. A recent report said that Google will launch the Pixel 2 on October 19th and the Pixel 2 XL on November 15th. The Pixel 2 phones will be the stars of Google’s show, but they aren’t the only new products the search giant is about to unveil. And a fresh leak from Best Buy Canada reveals more details about Pixel 2 preorders. Some other specs include 10ms of latency, 60-degrees of angular awareness, and 2,000 levels of pressure sensitivity. While the Google Chromebook Pixel series never really took off, it seems that Google still isn’t ready to give up on the concept just yet. The Google Pixelbook “re-imagines the laptop experience”, at least according to Google. Both Pixels have ditched the headphone jack, though a dongle is included.
The idea is you set it somewhere and it'll "look" for great moments to take photos and small videos using machine learning algorithms. It appears Google isn't done with premium Chromebooks. The Pixelbook is a mix between the Chromebook Pixel and Pixel C, existing as a 2-in-1 machine that can be folded around and used like a tablet. The company claims the 12.3-inch device this is its thinnest laptop ever, coming in at just 10 millimetres thick. USB-C fast charging and a 360-degree flip-back screen distinguish the Pixelbook from its predecessors, but the software feels like the biggest difference. Previous Chromebook Pixels were limited to Chrome OS’s browser alone.

Google is expected on to announce a slew of new hardware products at an event on Wednesday in San Francisco. At £999, the basic Pixelbook with 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD isn't cheap, but it's not the most expensive hybrid in its category. The Core i5 model with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD is £1,199 and the Core i7 model with 16GB RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD is £1,699.
Nest has integrated its latest set of hardware with Google Assistant to provide users with additional intelligence from their home cameras, doorbells, and thermostats. Google says the speaker delivers volume 20 times more powerful than what the standard Google Homeachieves, but as with the Pixelbook, the software is the secret sauce. Smart Sound is a new feature of the device that lets the speaker adapter to the size and shape of the user’s home. Unfortunately, the site doesn't confirm many other details about the hardware itself. But Droid Life does say the HTC-built phone will come with 64GB of storage for $650 (roughly £480 or AU$810) or 128GB for $750 (roughly £555 or AU$935). The Google Pixel 2 in "kinda blue," and the Pixel 2 XL in white and black -- according to a new leak. The Pixel 2 XL will start at $849 and pre-orders begin today. The Pixel 2 will also support Portrait mode, which Apple introduced on the iPhone 7 Plus last year and updated on the iPhone 8 Plus this year.

Google Clips looks like any other wearable camera, but Google's crammed in a ton of its AI tech to get the most from its own.

But with a $99 price tag (up from $79 for the first-gen model), and a clearly visible latch for holding a phone in place, this doesn’t seem to be a standalone device. The less good news is that the starting price is still $649, which isn’t exactly cheap. For that price, Droid Life says you’ll be able to pick up a Pixel 2 with 64GB of storage in white, black, or blue. Both phones are Daydream ready — and there’s even a new model. Cosmetically, the new Daydream View isn’t a massive departure though it is offered in a new color. The headset is $20 more expensive this time, retailing for $99.
Accessing Google Assistant will also be easier — simply give your phone a squeeze. The new Daydream View looks… a lot like last year’s model. It seems like Google may have changed the materials a bit, which could help make the new version more comfortable and/or easier to clean.
